Uttlesford District Council is looking for an Electoral Services Manager with significant experience in all aspects of electoral and democratic services to provide day to day leadership to our Electoral Services team.

The ideal candidate will be able to evidence high standards of customer service, efficient project management and use of technology to deliver excellent value for money. Able to work under pressure to strict deadlines, you will be able to motivate and mentor our developing team to deliver high quality work.

You should have a successful track-record of direct involvement in all aspects of elections and electoral registration, be a member of the Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) and have qualified for the AEA Certificate in Electoral Administration. Possession of the Diploma in Electoral Administration is desirable.

You must be able to work flexibly, as during election periods you will be expected to work additional hours including evenings and weekends.
