Do you have experience working within an electoral services environment, and are ready to take the next step up to a Team Leader role or perhaps you have previous leadership experience in electoral services and are looking for a new opportunity?

If so, here at South Holland District Council, we are recruiting for an Electoral Services Team Leader to join our small friendly Democratic Services team. You will join our team of dedicated electoral professionals and assist the Democratic Services Manager in the effective delivery of elections and electoral registration.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electoral administrator who is looking to take the next progression within their career, or for an established Team Leader to pursue an opportunity within our organisation.

You will provide operational support to the Democratic Services Manager so organisational skills are key! We are looking for an experienced individual who will lead in strategic and operational electoral registration activities and the conduct of elections.

What we need from you:

  • Fully qualified in an appropriate qualification or significant experience of full range of Electoral Services function.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Electoral Services processes
  • Previous working experience of dealing with the public and elected members.
  • Excellent communication and a good eye for detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly and in high pressure situations to deadlines.

Qualifications are desirable as in house training will be provided if you hold previous relevant experience.
