Join us and play a lead role in delivering all aspects of the electoral registration process and national and local elections.
We really want you to bring an in depth knowledge of electoral processes as well as experience of applying the relevant statutory and procedural requirements to them.
You will work with the team to maintain a complete and accurate Register of Electors under the Individual Electoral Registration system and you will have a key role in the delivery of all elections and referendums in the district.
The team is keen to increase its engagement activities and its use of modern technology to improve the experience of residents and electors in those registration processes.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who has the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to this role along with working as part of a team. A desire to join a team looking to innovate is also advantageous.
This role requires flexibility and the requirement to work some additional hours during election periods.
If you do not already hold the Certificate of the Association of Electoral Administrators, the Council will support you to study for it.
