We are currently recruiting for a Head of Elections, to be shared with North Warwickshire Borough Council, we are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to supervise our busy, committed Election teams – you will need practical experience covering all aspects of elections and electoral registration.
Working under pressure and to tight deadlines should not be unfamiliar to you. You will need to be flexible and work extra hours including some evenings, weekends and bank holidays during elections and peak canvass periods.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Extensive experience of all aspects of Electoral Services including elections and electoral registration.
- Excellent organisational skills;
- And hold the AEA Certificate
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience of administering elections and substantial knowledge of electoral legislation;
- Excellent supervisory skills;
- Effective communication skills at all levels;
- A sound working knowledge of xpress or another electoral management system
