Elections Act Seminar

Seminar logo 2022

The Elections Act 2022 requires significant changes to how elections and electoral registration are conducted in the UK. Planning how to successfully implement these changes is now an urgent and vitally important task.

Our Elections Act Seminar will help you understand how the policy changes will work and how best to prepare for them. It will help you plan how you will manage elections and electoral registration to comply with this new law.

We are developing a full programme for the Seminar, including a combination of workshops and plenary sessions. Interactive sessions, led by AEA trainers, will consider the practicalities of the changes and address topics such as new burdens and good practice.

You will hear from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and the Electoral Commission. There will also be time to talk with suppliers and to network with colleagues from around Great Britain.

We thank DLUHC for supporting this event, offering one funded place to each local authority/shared service and valuation joint board across England, Scotland and Wales.
