  • IMPORTANT NOTE: The Association is not able to accept membership applications from persons who are employed outside the UK. All services provided to members are based on electoral practices and matters governed by UK law and therefore will offer limited or no value to persons not employed in the UK

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Before clicking one of the checkboxes below, you must read the information on membership categories here. If you are eligible for membership, the category will be allocated based upon the information provided on this form and may be different from the one you select.

    The Association will use the data provided on this form to send you information about events organised by the Association such as training courses, conferences, branch meetings and training, invitations to online and other meetings, job adverts in electoral services and other services provided as a benefit of membership. Only check the opt-out box if you do not wish to receive this information. We do not provide or sell members' details to third parties.

    We are obliged to give you the choice of opting out of our mailing list, but you must be aware that, if you do opt out, you will not receive any communications whatsoever from the AEA concerning, for example, publication of the weekly newsletter, quarterly ARENA magazine, parliamentary election bulletins, instructions on voting in AEA elections, and any other important information.

    Please note that an invoice will be issued and the AEA only accepts payment by BACS.
  • I HEREBY APPLY to be admitted as a Member of the above Company on the Terms of the Articles of Association from time to time in force. I HEREBY UNDERTAKE, if the Company is wound up while I am a member or within one year after I cease to be a member, to contribute to the assets of the Company for payment of the debts and liabilities of the Company contracted before I cease to be a member and of the costs, charges and expenses of winding up, and for adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves, such amount as may be required, not exceeding £1.
