Annual Canvass
Automated Registration system:
The annual canvass is one of the busiest times of the year for an Electoral Registration department, but ERS' automated telephone, Internet and SMS electoral registration system, that workload can be reduced significantly. The system is set-up to interface fully with each of the existing UK Election Management software applications. ERS are the largest provider of telephone and online registration services in the UK. Over 250 local authorities use the ERS system and over 4 million registrations were recorded in 2008, including 175,765 registrations on our busiest day.
Printing Services
ERS' team of graphic designers offer professional and tailored artwork for registration forms and other canvass material, whilst the dedicated IT team have considerable experience processing the data output from each of the UK Election Management software suppliers. Moreover, production procedures are fully audited to ensure the security of sensitive data is maintained throughout the process.
Postal and Proxy Vote mailings
ERS can manage your paper returns via its well equipped response handling unit and modern IT scanning suite, Data can be efficiently and securely captured, stored and processed and returned to you in a required format. ERS can also produce and mail postal/proxy application forms.
Election and Referenda Documentation Printing and Postal Ballot Pack Production

- Production and on-time delivery of over 2 thirds of the UK’s BID ballots, including BIDs for Worthing, Birmingham and Bristol.
- Production of postal ballot packs for by-elections and referenda including; Haltemprice and Howden, Glasgow East and Crewe and Nantwich.
- Production and delivery of 1.9 million postal packs for the Manchester Transport Innovation Fund in 2008.
